Here We Go! – Challenge 1

So, here we are. The first day of April and the first day of the NaPoWriMo challenge (yes, I did get the name wrong in my previous post).

Today’s challenge is to write a Lune. For those of you that don’t know, a Lune is a poem consisting of a similar syllable count as westernised Haiku, however the pattern is 5-3-5, as opposed to 5-7-5. There are also variants that go by word count, rather than syllable. For this challenge, you can write just one Lune or a poem consisting of a series of Lunes.

Good Luck!

That’s a really cool idea. I might try and use some more forms in the challenges as I don’t use forms all that often. Good luck to you as well.
